What you need to know
- Uploading images adds assets; creating ads adds advertising objects. Treat them as separate steps.
- Prepare a clear image-to-ad mapping before you approve a batch.
- PlugMind creates approved batch ads paused and retains per-item results for recovery.
Prepare the batch before uploading
A folder of finished creatives is not yet an ad plan. Each image needs an account, destination ad set, identity, copy and landing page. Deciding those once, in a reviewable mapping, removes much of the repetitive work that makes bulk uploads frustrating.
For this PlugMind workflow, use actual image files and existing Meta ad sets. Confirm that the account can use the intended Page or Instagram identity. Do not assume an asset available to one client is available to another. Account authorization and asset access are separate checks.
| Row | Image | Existing ad set | Copy and destination |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | summer-offer-square.jpg | Prospecting / Summer | Approved offer A → summer landing page |
| 2 | customer-proof-square.jpg | Prospecting / Summer | Approved proof B → product landing page |
This is an illustrative planning table. Replace labels with objects discovered in your authorized account. If different placements need different assets, verify support for that configuration before building the batch; this guide does not promise placement-specific asset mapping.
Upload and verify the image assets
Name the workspace and account, then attach the images to the assistant. PlugMind supports single-image uploads and batches of up to ten image files per upload call. Review the account, filenames and fingerprints before approving the upload.
The result to retain is each successful Meta imageHash. An attachment name alone is not proof that Meta received the file. If some uploads fail, keep the successful hashes and investigate the failed items instead of sending every image again.
Prepare and approve the ad-creation plan
Next, map the successful hashes to the intended ad sets, identities, copy and URLs. Ask for the complete saved plan before execution. Confirm the number of ads, not just the number of files: reusing an image with two copy variants can produce two different ads.
Upload approval is not ad-creation approval. After you approve the exact saved plan, PlugMind can execute the batch in the background. The batch fixes the target account rather than relying on whichever account happens to be selected in the dashboard.
Verify results and handle partial completion
- Check each returned ad ID against the intended image, destination and ad set.
- Review paused ads in the platform before considering activation.
- Read saved batch progress when work is queued, running or waiting.
- Investigate uncertain writes before attempting a replacement.
A waiting batch is not necessarily a failed batch. PlugMind retains progress and can resume safe remaining work after Meta cooldowns. Recreating an uncertain batch can produce duplicates; inspect the existing plan first.
Activation is a separate decision. This guide covers image assets and paused ad creation, not automatic launch, video production, or generating replacement images. The useful success measure is a verified set of correct ads—not simply a completed upload request.
Frequently asked questions
Can I upload more than ten images?
The batch image-upload tool accepts up to ten files per call. Divide larger sets into clearly labeled upload groups and preserve the returned hashes. That upload limit is not a claim about the maximum size of every ad-creation batch.
Does creating ads start spending?
New ads created by this workflow start paused. Enabling eligible objects is a separate action requiring approval.
What if only some ads were created?
Inspect saved per-item results. Retain successful IDs, resolve failures and reconcile uncertain items before retrying.
