Quick answer

What you need to know

  • Claude can use supported Meta tools through an authorized connection; writing ad copy is only one part of the workflow.
  • New campaigns and adding image ads to existing ad sets are different tasks.
  • Review upload, creation and activation separately, and inspect results before retrying.

Move from a draft to an actual account operation

Claude can help create and manage supported Facebook and Instagram advertising objects through PlugMind after the relevant Meta account and assets are authorized. The practical question is which operation you need: a campaign plan, a new campaign structure, additional image ads or an analysis of existing performance.

A generated headline or image description is a draft. A saved platform object requires a successful tool operation and an identifier you can verify. PlugMind supports specific Meta campaign, ad-set, image-creative, image-upload and batch operations. Check the current capability reference before assuming support for another format or setting.

Choose the right starting point

Your goalStart withReview before execution
Prepare a new campaignA complete campaign brief and supported creation workflow. Objective, budget, targeting, destination and identity.
Add several image adsAn existing authorized ad set and actual image files. The image-to-copy mapping for each intended ad.
Investigate weak resultsThe Meta performance analysis workflow.Reporting scope and evidence before changing anything.
Change an existing objectIts exact ID and the supported operation. The present setting, proposed setting and effect on delivery.

For a new campaign, specify the offer, objective, landing page, intended audience, budget currency and advertising identity. Let Claude identify missing fields rather than inventing a targeting decision. New objects start paused; account connection does not itself authorize spending.

For a batch of image ads, the documented flow uses existing ad sets and uploaded images. Decide whether two images mean two ads or multiple copy variants. An assistant cannot infer your intended experiment from the number of files.

Confirm the account, Page and assets

Resolve the client workspace and account first. Then inspect available Pages and the intended advertising identity. Access to a Meta account does not establish permission to use every Page or Instagram identity. If an asset is missing, check the platform permissions and the connecting login before building a payload.

Ask for a read-only account and identity summary first. If Claude returns a similar account name instead of the requested ID, correct the selection before continuing. Follow the missing-account guide when the desired account cannot be found.

Upload assets, approve creation and verify results

Use actual image files for the supported image workflow. An upload returns a Meta image hash; a filename or an invented hash cannot replace that result. Review the upload proposal, then preserve the successful hashes for the ad-creation plan.

Review the complete mapping of existing ad set, identity, image, primary text, headline and destination for each intended ad. Approve the exact saved batch plan only after the mapping is correct. Keep the created ads paused while reviewing the returned object IDs and status.

When a batch is interrupted, inspect its existing status and successful items before starting another one. Partial success can leave valid ads in the account. An uncertain result needs investigation, not an automatic duplicate submission.

  • Record the approved plan and successful campaign, ad-set or ad IDs.
  • Verify that each saved object belongs to the intended account.
  • Check the landing page, copy, image and delivery status.
  • Make activation a separate approval after review.

Ongoing management still needs explicit scope. PlugMind supports on-demand account work and background execution of approved Meta batches; that does not provide a recurring service that checks and optimizes every campaign while you are offline.

Frequently asked questions

Can Claude create Instagram ads through this workflow?

For supported Meta configurations, the required advertising identity and assets must be available. Confirm the actual account permissions and tool fields rather than assuming every Instagram format is supported.

Can I upload a spreadsheet and have everything launch?

The downloadable PlugMind template is a planning document, not an automatic importer. Asset uploads, exact batch approval and activation remain separate steps.

Does Claude manage my ads continuously after the chat?

Not through a general recurring PlugMind monitoring feature in this release. Execution of an already approved Meta batch is a distinct background operation.
